Our mission has always been to invigorate communities, and we can’t do it without you! To us, providing the underpinning internet technology that invigorates community events means making sure no one misses a cashless sale, one moment of a live stream, or a single chance to succeed online.
Over ten years ago, we needed reliable internet for our own community events and kept hitting brick walls wherever we turned. That’s when we invented PopUp WiFi, a new way of supplying temporary managed event networks that anyone could operate, regardless of their technical ability. We wanted to create managed internet services so communities could afford the same quality of equipment and service that was once only accessible to the top end of town. We call it democratic managed internet services and we proudly offer special rates and inclusions for community events, including 10% off our rack rates for equipment rental and a free $500 data pack with each booking.

1. Get set up in seconds.
Simple plug ’n’ play installation means anyone can easily set WiFi up exactly where it needs to go. Stand it up on a table or higher, add power, and voilà – your network will be ready. Remember: our techs are available 24/7, so if you have a setup question, just call or text us anytime. We can make changes on the spot and, with delivery two days before your event, setting up your network could be the easiest part of load in!

2. Scan to start Slipstream.
Here you’ll find all the essential information about your event network rental in one handy spot for live insights and instant help. Scan the QR code on your unit or click the Slipstream link in your confirmation email to access your booking details including network name(s) and password(s), key dates, support information, data usage and devices connecting to your network.

3. Let the good times roll.
Get your speakers and guests checked in quickly with priority connection for staff devices. If you want to give your guests internet access as they arrive, you can add a second login to your WiFi. This configuration gives staff first access to bandwidth and the guests can access the remaining, meaning you can get the important things done first. And of course, you can keep any eye on your network in real-time on your Slipstream dashboard.

4. CAPTIVATE your guests.
Connect speakers, delegates, exhibitors, staff and volunteers seamlessly across your conference. There’s a PopUp WiFi model for every production need, so you can create a fit-for-purpose combination with everything you need for a perfect internet experience. Many conference organisers choose a Lite for registrations and ticketing, Express 5G for delegate and exhibitor coverage and a Beast for high-definition live streaming.

6. We’re here if you need us, 24/7.
When you rent from PopUp WiFi, you have access to our powerful live management and support from our own Peplink-qualified network engineers. This means if you call or text our team, you’ll speak with our specialists who not only support our networks – they actually build the products too. They use powerful remote-management tools that allow them to log into your unit(s) remotely and make active changes on the spot that will let you see changes in moments. And we promise we’ll never ask if you’ve tried turning it off and on again!

7. Easy next-day returns
When the fun is finished, just pop your PopUp WiFi unit into the box it came in, attach the supplied shipping label, and a courier will collect your unit(s). PopUp WiFi rentals include return delivery the next business day after your event. If you need to arrange a late return, please let us know when requesting a quote so we can make a note of this on your booking. Late returns are billed at the full rental rate, so please be ready to be on time!
